My
work is mainly on paper or canvas. My pictures are sparse, with elements
conceived as minimal landscapes, whether as a space filled with trees
or as an empty desert, using color as way to create texture on an
otherwise ambiguous surface.
While working, I use sketches for the imagery and rely on a memorized
record of my impressions. I reflect on those impressions as I work
in my medium. Always developing and moving forward. I move my medium
. . . my medium moves me.
It is an intermixing of art and artist, and the conception of another
thought with the birth of every new piece.
As continuous as the changing seasons, the evolution of my artwork
will go on . . .
